From May 18 to 25, 2024, the 38th edition of the Strasbourg Internationals will take place, a not-to-be-missed event in women’s tennis that brings together the world’s greatest players every year.
This year, the tournament has been upgraded to the 500 category, making the Strasbourg Internationals the 3rd largest tennis event in France, both in terms of category and prize money (after Roland-Garros and the Rolex Paris Masters). The tournament will be held at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg, at the foot of the European Parliament, traditionally a week before Roland Garros.
The Strasbourg International Tennis Tournament has embarked on a “global” approach, taking into account every aspect of the event’s organization in order to significantly reduce its carbon footprint. Thanks to the 80 eco-responsible actions carried out over the past 12 years, the tournament’s carbon footprint has been greatly reduced, and the tournament has been certified by the low-carbon label.
